About Marcella Martinez:
Known for her quick wit and great personality, Marcella is one of the go-to media hosts in the Central Valley
Marcella Martinez BKA, DJ Wifey, started her DJ career 10 years ago. Her love of music inspired her to become a DJ and eventually evolve into a radio personality.
Marcella is Bakersfield’s first female mixer to hit the local airwaves, and quickly gain love and support from many in the central valley, other parts of SoCal, and as further out into Idaho and New Mexico. In 2020 & 2021 when she won the Best DJ Award in the annual “Bakersfield Californian’s Best of People’s Choice Poll”. In 2022, she was nominated for a BMA Best DJ category.
She is known to put on a great party as an MC & DJ for grand openings, concerts, and VIP parties.
It is an honor to represent women in the music industry, I like being creative, but I love to inspire through music. DJ Wifey can be heard weekdays 6pm to 10pm, Saturdays 8pm to Midnight and Sundays 8am to 12pm
